    fun fact it becomes a welder if you touch the cable to the right places. I'm sure macGyver did it in a episode with a toothpick and some foil....:shocked: I tried it once or twice, recommend a welding helmet.

    ya the gmt800's will do that more than the gmt900's sometimes... I suspect it is due to more actual wires, on the 900's they started the process of using more lan & chips and less actual wire cheaper to send a signal to a chip to do a local process on a single wire than across a bunch of wires...

    my road magnet picked up some more metal, while that was being patched (luckily) I usually take the opportunity to inspect my brakes and etc and found only one of the parking brake cables was going thru the brace/bracket and was rubbing on the gas tank a smidge so corrected that.
