    NNBS Cargo space?

The 2015+ Tahoe/Yukons have a button, which automatically folds down all seats to get that flat cargo space. Kind of shocking that NNBS trucks don’t have this capability.

    NNBS Cargo space?

Indeed, I like the Avalanche a lot.

    NNBS Cargo space?

Okay, how about if you remove the 3rd row seats, then in the 2nd row, pivot the seat cushions forward, so the seat backs can fold down into the floor (like in the photo I posted). Is this possible? Or are you saying the NNBS trucks aren’t capable of converting into a completely flat cargo area??

    NNBS Cargo space?

Do the 2nd row seats in NNBS trucks fold down to create a completely flat cargo area, just like the NBS? Or is it not completely flat? Somehow I can’t find confirmation online.

Blue Behemoth Build Thread (01 Yukon XL)

Okay, answering my own question... The zip tie should stay intact! When I pulled the front door panels, the window regulators have metal ties around the cables. I’ll re-zip the one I clipped.

So when I removed the other regulator, I noticed that the zip tie holding the cables together was still intact. I clipped the other one when I installed the drivers side. Are these zip ties supposed to stay intact even after installing the regulator??

Installing sound deadener was a heck of a lot easier with the window regulator removed. The fronts will be a little more interesting.

Hmm interesting, the stock mounts in my 01 don’t have those tabs, however they do have smaller bulbs sticking out, which I will trim.

Thanks for the vid, ya those look like mine. I’ll take a photo of the other side before tampering with it just for good measure.

Yup still have the weather seal plastic. I was going to heat up the adhesive with a heat gun, and reseal it after I installed the speakers and sound deadening. Both rear window regulators are toast, so going to do those as well while I’m in there.

And just for good measure, here is a photo of those adapters on top of the speakers in the stock housing... There would have been nowhere to attach the screws. Possibly incorrect adapters? What is the correct model number for the correct adapters?

I’m going to use these baffle enclosures for the speakers to help increase the bass a bit, as well as protect the speakers from moisture, and seems like I may not even need the adapters for the rear. So far it looks like it will work.

Blue Behemoth Build Thread (01 Yukon XL)

Somehow these adapters don’t fit the rear door at all. Are they supposed to attach to the housing that was already in there??

Door speaker options? Anyone know 6.5 speakers fit well into the front and door housings? I got some Metra 82-3002 speaker adapters, according to Amazon, they fit all four 2001 Yukon, but the instruction booklet shows they only fit front doors and only 95-99. How do you guys install the rear...

    Hybrid is faster?

So going into V4 or activating E-assist is all done automatically? Or do you have to toggle V4 on/off? How is reliability of the 11-13 Hybrids?

    Hybrid is faster?

So the reg Tahoe is rated at 320hp and 340trq, while the Hybrid version is 332hp and 367trq. Is that additional 12hp strictly from those two electrical motors? Or is that the standalone 6.0 Vortec tuned higher on the hybrid? And if you smash on the gas pedal 0-60, do the electrical motors help...

    Hybrid is faster?

Ok so top speed is a factor indeed, but how about quickness vs speed. Are you saying the Hybrid can get 0-60 quicker than a regular Tahoe? I know the Hybrid comes with an aluminum hood and lift gate to lighten the load, but is that enough to account for the extra weight of those two electrical...

    Hybrid is faster?

Super cool. How can one tell if the 08 still has the old software? Also, is it possible to retro-tune the older software onto a newer Tahoe Hybrid? Black Bear?

@Sam Harris, what type of cluster did you install to have the trans temp gauge upgrade? Also, was it plug and play? Or did you have to run any additional wires/sensors to get it working??

    Cigarette lighter socket issue

So all three sockets up front have not been working (2001 Yukon XL), there are two cig lighter sockets, and one six socket. I replaced the fuses, still weren’t working. Then I replaced all three sockets... Now, the aux socket works, but the cig lighter sockets still don’t. Do the cig lighter...

    Tahoe Hybrid with G80?

Hmm interesting, only that one year? Regarding the locker, I thought it didn’t come on any models which had Stabilitrak, so maybe just the 4x4’s without it? But still wondering if anyone with a hybrid has the G80 code on their RPO glovebox sticker.
