    I thought about putting clear over mine, but after I wetsanded with 800 and 1500, then hand buffed, they were pretty smooth and shiny. Only problem I had with mine was keeping everything evenly sprayed and even more, even when I sanded it smooth. But after slowing down, it became easier...

    I used nightshades. It took a couple of tries to get the tint to lay evenly and at the proper thickness. I wetsanded my tails first then sprayed them in multiple really light coats, then wetsanded again and buffed. Just make sure that you take your time and allow yourself time to do it...

    I've seen 285's on stock wheels before (It's just under a 33" tire). As for the speed, I know with my Hypertech, I can adjust it, but I don't know of any other way.

    Ive seen bull bars on the OBS, and some I liked, bu some looked like crap. I think it depends on color of the vehicle and how well the manufacturer fit the bar.

    Did you pop off the clear part away from the gray plastic underneath? I'm actually doing this now, just gotta sand the inside paint off first.

    debadging and body trim removal

    I would get an eraser wheel to get the glue off. Much faster. Just be careful that the body is clean and you don't burn through the paint.

    I don't know about the GMC emblem, but the Chevy emblems come apart and are painted on the inside and it shows through the clear plastic. Just take it apart and sand out the old and paint it whatever color you want. I'm actually in the middle of doing this to mine.

    You can throw it up on the rack. I've also seen a few swinging style carriers that slide onto the receiver hitch. I can't remember the names though. I know it's been in a few discussions on here though. A quick search of the forum might bring up some ideas.

    I just used VHT Nightshades. It's pretty tricky getting both sides evenly sprayed dark enough but light enough that your lights still show through. Use multiple really light coats. After it cures, you can LIGHTLY wetsand with about 1500 grit or higher until you achieve the desired result...
