    Towing an S10

    I have an 06 Z71. I'm looking at purchasing an S10. I'd need to tow it on a trailer, not a dolly from Florida to SC. I'd say the S10 is probably 3750 and the trailer probably is 2000. I think that puts it right on the edge of recommended towing capacity. Do you guys think it can handle it?

    So I've installed the radio, and an amp for my subs. I got the Crux SOCGM-17B harness from Crutchfield. Everything powers up, and the radio plays.     Climate Control issue

    I was removing my radio and the antenna dropped onto the top of the climate control, and I assume shorted something out. I did let up a puff of smoke. I checked the fuses and they were good. I can turn the blower on but it doesn't sound like it's cutting the compressor on, and it's not blowing...

    Have most of you had to use spacers

    on the rear doors. I'm scared to get spacers cause I want to be able to put he speaker cover back on. I need an additional 1/4". I squeezed them in my old Yukon but they didn't fully seal.

    Dash cracks?

    Anyone have this problem? I have a big crack in the middle left to right. I was trying to find a molded plastic dashcover, but I couldn't find one for a 1997. Coverlay MFG makes them but for the 95-96 only. I guess I could put an ugly carpet one up there.

    Mounting Depth on rear speakers

    Armrest removal

    Anyone had to do this? I just bought a 96 and the armrest looks awful. I may remove it until I can get it recovered, or just buy the leather replacement of ebay. Just didn't know how difficult a job it is. Thank you

    Is there a factory crossover for the front door speakers

    I know it's a 6 1/2 or 6 3/4 with the tweeter. I assume you can replace just the paper cone speaker with a coaxial. Just wanted to make sure there isn't like a factory crossover, and the drop in coaxial would be full range.
