    haha true. I used 3 dollar per can Valspar spray paint and clear from lowes. Used about 4 cans of each. took all day. Tons of taping and sanding, alot of patience. I need to let them cure for about a week then I will wetsand and buff them.

    i can dunk, and With the right training I can climb everest.....unless i die on the way. But I know all about glassing, done many glass consoles, and pods. I like it but I usually wrap mine. not a fan of shiny paint on the inside.

    Started demolding today =) (PICS)

    When i took mine off, i peeled the mouldings off all the way around, then drove it like that for like 3 months. the florida sun loosened the adhesive so when I finally got around to removing the adhesive, it peeled right off.

    Stetsom Amps are pricey but they do rated power at 2ohms. You could go with a Stetsom 7K2D and it will prolly run 5K at 3 ohms. But to get that kind of power out of the amp, you will need a good sized batt bank along with your dual alt setup. And you might as well trash those optimas. oh, and...
