Also, something I forgot to mention, you can get random cylinder misfire with sticky fuel injectors, too. Use your scan tool to check fuel trims. If you can't it certainly wouldn't hurt to run a can of seafoam through the fuel tank.
Junkyard is a great source for these. If you pull a full set on a bracket, you may even get lucky and only have to pay for the unit instead of individual coils. If you're going scrapping, grab an OEM MAF while you're there. Just paid $20 for one because mine kicked a code. Cleaned it and never...
It's for me. I am a member, but prior to yesterday, I couldn't post in the wanted section. I'm now a supporting member, so I can. Yay!
Thank you for posting that, sir.
It wasn’t the brackets, but the adjusters that were the issue. Didn’t fit tightly. A little JB Weld fixed that, though. And I’m keeping my originals for polishing eventually.
I really think the front is too high. I'm an ogre at 6'5" and built like a linebacker. When I stand on the rear bumper, it barely squats. I think the rear springs are still in good shape.
My '06 Tahoe sits about 1/2" high in the front and it drives me nuts. I don't mind a little squat when it's pulling something, but it should be flat as it sits. Is there any issue just crawling under and backing the torsion bolt off a few turns and seeing how it goes?
I've got 4.10s in the race car, 3.73s in the Burb. I have no issues with shifting with the 3.23s. Perfect for my needs. Hauling the family around and a 4x8 HF trailer for our camping gear. The only time the 3.23s may be an issue is when I tow the race car to Tucson in October. But by the next...
See my RPOs above. As noted in the original post, I've also got a '78 Suburban. Once that's going again, it's got the towing capacity to pull around anything I might need that the Tahoe can't.
I've got a OBDXPro dongle that I got for programming, but I also like to use it for extra gauges on my phone. As such, I like to leave it plugged in. I also have a phone charger plugged into the cigarette lighter. Thankfully it only took me a minute to realize that these were full-time hot, not...
Yeah, this thing is optioned almost exactly like I would've ordered it. 2wd, jump seat in the front, 3rd row, heavy duty tow package, 3.27 highway gears, G80 locker. The only thing I would've changed is OnStar. I would've gotten it without.
Greetings everyone. Picked up an '06 Tahoe. I got it originally to yank the drivetrain and stick it in my '78 Suburban. The wife and I have fallen in love with it and it's too nice to do that to, so it's officially joined the fleet. 207k miles, runs great.
When I got it, the headliner was...
