Help Needed: Removal of OEM roof side rails and rear hatch chrome "GMC" trim on '19 Yukon Denali

the older versions had a riv-nut from the top side, remove and caulk the hole or plug with a short, flat head bolt. surely, these are not a hole completely through the roof ????

    Thermostat / burping cooling system

i fi am not mistaken, the overflow now is the highest point, you should not need to burp unless it starts getting hot. at that point, you can remove the over flow cap while running and it will burp it self. oddly, in my 45 years, i have never had trapped air in the system after any work.

    Which one?

nope...I do not have a gas cap at all...just a push through flap.
  8. STORMIN08

    Which one?

the rating is dictated by the fuel selection...the flex motors have the higher rating when running the E85.

2017 Tahoe Rear Differential Cover, Mag Hytec, hits rear crossmember

personally, i would never consider the fuel side, but if the evidence does indeed lead to bearing failure and down time if the truck was needed daily ( for some it is ), then i can see where this data would convince me. like i stated, just throwing some info out that gets people thinking. the...

2017 Tahoe Rear Differential Cover, Mag Hytec, hits rear crossmember

that post and vid isnt to sell any product, just an fyi. but the info available is eye opening, most think aftermarket is better ( marketing scheme 101) as in the terms f air filtration...there are filter makers who claim more power...but at what cost to filtration ???? more flow= More power...

2017 Tahoe Rear Differential Cover, Mag Hytec, hits rear crossmember

most have never reported an issue, as they do not use the vehicle as they thought. the stock pan is probably the best version possible, hence the reason why they all look the same. the flat back does not allow proper direction of fluid Up and Over the ring gear to the pinion bearing, it also...

2017 Tahoe Rear Differential Cover, Mag Hytec, hits rear crossmember

hopefully you have done your research on this style of pan...it only adds fluid, but in return causes more harm than good. most OE went to a finned aluminum pan several years ago on HD trucks, BUT they still retain the barreled shape. the flat back creates to much turbulence and aeration of...

    2020 sluggish throttle

i wouldnt say PLACEBO, as it does change a value within the system.... personally i cannot see the expense being worth it on a vehicle like this... the more i ponder why someone would argue so strongly would be a case similar to my Diesel Truck...having the on the flay adjustability may be...

    Considering '15+ Burb...

I have the driving nannies turned OFF, no more lane nudge, or buzzing. It is in the owners manual.how to turn off. Park assist is on, and close approach can be adjusted on the steering wheel.

    2020 sluggish throttle

A throttle fooler is just that...IT FOOLS YOU. like stated, at 20% input, it can feel like 90% if chosen. Who ever spent money one one after a BB tune...was wasting money. BB could have changed that, if so heavily desired. It does nothing for overall performance.

    2017 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 33" tires rubbing

Caution with the passenger fender liner, your rear ac lines runs behind it. Take a good look at the front leg of the upper control arms, the tire may be scrubbing in that area. Most fixes are easy, and have plenty of room to add clearance...contact with hard parts is a separate issue as new...

    Another tuner question

blackbear offers that, but hey use actual driving feedback of you and your vehicle. not a canned tuned but if you dig enough, there are dyno post and vids from independent users of canned tuners, the meat of the curve offers some decent pulling power gains.

    Magneride replacement recommendation

interesting to see the difference in coil diameter, definitely looks like it would have a slightly higher spring rate, obvious by your installed pics. is the number on the spring itself the same as the part number or is it different, wonder if arnott sells the coil separately
