1 to goyum that bourbon was sooo nice I might get me another for the other side. Anesthetic for shock surgery haha! The shock is the cleanest thing on the beast at the moment.
Rears done! Onto the fronts now. This is the old shit that was in the backjust made myself a nice bourbon n coke while I do the fronts.
Mmmm Woodford Reserve
Alright here we go. New springs arrived from Summit Racing. Took 12 days from the states to New Zealand. Pretty good. Lol then 14 days in customs
Not so good. Any way they are going in now!!
Shouldn't take long. Have just noticed tho,I have to disconnect one side of the swaybar to get the...
Lol yuo
Oh yeah. I wanted to show Morris something he missed. They need to fail something every now and then or they start getting looked at by the powers that be.
Is good to build a good relationship with these guys. They show you the odd thing, and pass it because they know you are the guy...
Yeah in summer we get up around some of our high country lakes n rivers to fish, kayak and mountain bike.
Some of the places we go have some pretty rough tracks. Some flexibility is good.
Once I have it loaded and full of gas 2"s of travel are gone and I dont want it smashing on the bump...
Yeah I was thinking of I have to' I can relocate bump stop to the frame and it will give it 4" which is good for movement 4x4 off road. It will have 2 1/4" with trim.
Thanks man
Lol it actually had none it it. Made it through compliance and 2 warrants of fitness before I pointed it out to the inspector so he could fail it on something.
I got some from the mount shop. They are about 50mm /2".Thought I might just trim about 1" off or if I need to I could relocate on...
You know it!!! I have been wanting to do it since the day I bought it mate!
I may have to remove the rear bump stop brackets as i only have about 1 1/2" travel after dropping it 2" recently

Hi and welcome to the forum from New Zealand.
Lol! I love welcoming new guys from the otherside of the world!!
This is a great forum hope you meet some like minded peeps and enjoy.
Sounds like you may have blown the differential. I would think if it was the transfer broken it would not be driveable.
All gears working, does 60mph. Only has trouble at a slow turn. Sounds like diff.
I think it used to be a mandatory change from left to right, possibly the same here in N.Z
My insurance company is punishing me for having a left hook by imposing a $1500 excess. Think if I was to join a hotrod or car club I might find cheaper insurance.
At least I shouldn't smash a parked car ayy
Hey Jeff
Dont know if my info will help but my 97 yukon doesn't have remote access. I have 2 keys only no fobs. Can central lock from both front doors and rear door.
Think an alarm install will give me remote access.
Cheers
Hey there
Here is my 97 yukon when I got it with 35s 315/70/16 on a 2" body lift and bumper shave and a little bit of inner guard trimming. Is running a Tahoe grill at present.
