Just received word that my 2026 Yukon AT4 with the 3.0 is in and being prepared. Have to get it shipped from FL to OR but can't wait. Placed our order a month ago and it's already in and on its way.

I had a 22 and loved it but thought the family would be comfortable in a Lexus GX550. That rig was a head turner and I loved it but it was just not right for a family. No room whatsoever.

We are also expecting our 2nd any day now and so it's not the ideal timing, so mods will come later but will just enjoy being back in comfort.

Will post pictures once I receive it.

Also,
This is my first diesel so any suggestions, tips, tricks would be appreciated.

I will spend some time sifting through the threads on here but just haven't had the time yet.

TIA

Welcome neighbor!

First 500ish miles take it easy but also makes sure you vary the engine rpm. Make sure to do some long stretch driving so everything gets up to temp.

Around the first 300-400 miles it’ll do a regen - it’ll stink pretty bad as all the metals around the DPF burn off the oil from manufacturing. It’s just a one time smell.

Keep an eye on all the fluid levels. Your dealer should do this, but it’s good practice to get yourself familiar with how to check the levels.

Enjoy your new rig!

Make sure the DEF tank is filled up when you take delivery.

Otherwise, enjoy!

Already putting a list together of some changes. Definitely need to get rid of that chrome lower bumper.

On my 2025 HC, I had the first oil change done early at 1800 miles just put my mind at ease about anything in the oil from the break-in. I used the first service for free option. Others have paid for the oil change and saved the first free service for later. DEF - I used 1.8 gal in 1900 miles of mixed driving, just to let you know it tends to last a while.

Received it yesterday with a 7 day newborn - wife loved that. Mostly because it came in with damage  so took more time dealing with that. Luckily shipping company is taking responsibility and paying for windshield replacement and dent repair.

Front windshield had a chip and right, rear quarter panel had a dent right above the wheel well.

Pretty soon I'm going to be putting 22" Vossen wheels with 285/55 Wildpeaks, debadge and 5% tint on front windows (back to match) and maybe 70% windshield but I'm undecided.

As long as it’s not on a body line, those are much harder. Hard to tell if it is in the pic.
I had one right on the line above the front driver side wheel wells. They got it out no problem but could also access the underside via the engine bay. Here’s a couple pics. This was a week after I got the damn thing too… my Detailer did it when doing the ceramic coat lol. 3rd pic is the fix.

Little update. Had the following done:

-Got the dent repaired and can't tell its there.
-Glass is scheduled for next week.
-I was able to take off my Vossen wheels and 285/55 Falken Wildpeaks from my Lexus and put them on the truck with no issues other than some mild trimming.
- Debadged
-OCDPlug Screen Protector
-White LED side markers
- 5% tint

Loving this truck so far!

Once windshield is replaced will be adding 70% windshield tint.

New to this forum, but wanted to say congrats on your Yukon - nearly a twin to the one we just picked up for my wife! We will be tinting and doing some debadging as well, love the black out package for these, don't miss all the chrome on our 2017 Yukon Denali at all. We drove ours 3 hours home, and I am in the process of doing a quick paint correction, then ceramic coating - will post pics when I have it all done.

First picture at home, but got all the coating completed, including glass, wheels, the power boards, and even the mud guards. Tinting side windows and going to get those smoked front marker lights as well - looks great on yours!

Are you getting it ceramic coated or PPF?

I did that to my 2026. Makes it super easy to keep clean.
