Help with driver side fender & driver door alignment

So I put of my sagging driver side door for entirely too long and finally got around to replacing the lower door hinge. I thought I had taped it off pretty well so when I put the new one on it would need very little adjustment. I was dead wrong because I didn’t take into account that the old one was sagging when I marked it. So it started raining on me in the dark & my flood light battery died so I got pissed & slammed the door shut just to get it out of the rain. So I still now have not found the right alignment spot for my driver door but I also need to fix my driver side fender as well from it catching on the door so much. I have searched & YouTubed the hell out of it to minimal definite help. If y’all can help I’ll appreciate it. Here are pics of the fender & the door

Easiest way, loosen the fender slide it fwd. Proper way- remove fender, repair,loosely install, hang door, align door and latches. May have to fudge gap alignment especially if its been hit which is what it looks like. Might not ever fit without a fwd pull. Good body guys earn their pay.

At this point I would just take it to a reputable body shop and at least just get an estimate. May save you a lot of heartache.

This ^^^^^. Because at this point they’re the only ones who will be able to fix it. You need a new fender. They might be able to fix the door but maybe not. Lesson learned the hard way I’m afraid.

So I’m stubborn as hell so I may try [mention]exp500 [/mention] advice but I already figured I would have to replace the fender. Does the stock fender flares on the Z71 come on the new fenders or should I just get a replacement fender & try to put the current stock fender flares on the new fender?

The fender flares are pretty easy to swap over.

You’ll have to swap the flares unless you get a fender off a wrecked vehicle which you might be able to do, possibly in your color if you’re lucky and then you could just swap the whole thing over. I was able to swap a door onto my daughters ‘17 Cruze after someone wiped it out in a parking lot and left. Same color, can’t even tell it was replaced.

Now as far as the door alignment. Since I clearly didn’t take into account the fact that the old lower door hinge was jacked up already prior to marking it for the new ones placement & honestly if I have to take the damn door off one more time by myself and put it back on I’m gunna unload all frustration possible verbally hahaha, is there a tool that y’all recommend so I can get this functional so the door at least is aligned correct so that’s one less headache. Then I can slide the fender forward as that’s “cosmetic” & can wait until I get my next disability payment from the VA on the 1st lol
