Hi all. I believe my 2005 Tahoe Z71 had the front right fender flare replaced with a non-oem flare, as I seem to be missing a bracket or something of some kind that the lower molding attaches to. The molding looks fine and has the proper plastic slot that makes it nice and tight on the fender flare, but the fender flare doesn't have the bracket that the slot goes into.

This is where I'm talking about: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ThBexh6wg5YpAbJ29

This is the clip in the molding I have: https://photos.app.goo.gl/gz5Bvdy5UVARkFi69

I seem to be missing whatever it is on the fender flare that this clips into.

Where do I order this 'bracket'?

From what I know OEM fender flares were discontinued a long time ago, and you would be lucky to locate those tabs separate from a flare, Either find a z71 in a junkyard and install it to the flare you have, or get the z71 flare and paint it to color match your truck.

I de-flared mine, because my flares were all scratched up and some of the clear coat was starting to go. they are sitting somewhere in my garage not sure if I want to get them painted and re-flare my truck.

Agreed - good luck on finding them. We could barely get those tabs in the body shop when those trucks were only a year or two old. We always had to salvage them.
