I meant that if their policy was to sell a tune only once and then that tune could be sold along with the Autocal to someone else and BlackBear was obligated to update the tune for the new owner without getting any additional money that wouldn't be wise on their part. I'm sure they would eventually lose money on their tune after it was swapped a couple times to different people. I'm sure they have lost money on my tune for The Beast after so many retunes. The lifetime tune is meant to take into account people don't keep their rides forever. Same goes with every other "lifetime warranty" - they're never transferrable and they know that a majority of people sell their vehicles after a few years. Otherwise they'd never make enough money to stay in business.

Just wanted to add, so there is no confusion, that the tunes are not transferable. The new owner would have to purchase a tune and vin license which would be $325/$385 depending on vehicle.
I had called and asked Justin about that, I understood that since the tune was never used that it was fully transferable, did I misunderstand?
