    Has anyone put something in place of rear radio controls? I have an aftermarket stereo, so the rear controls are useless. Jut looking to see if anyone has replaced them with something cool (standalone rear stereo, dvd player, power center for rear passengers , etc.).

    I have not. But it stopped acting wierd after a few days. I went crazy flipping the switch up and down a lot and it stopped… maybe it’s the switch. As for now, if it doesn’t come back I’m not worried about it.

    Right turn signal works normally. Left turn signal turns on hazards. All lights work. All normal lights, no LEDs. Grounds are fine. Temped to think it’s just the flasher. Just figured I would post in case anyone has had a similar situation and found an easy fix. I tried searching but couldn’t...

    New fuel pump is in and truck fired right up! Now I just have to patch the hole I cut to get to it…easier than wrestling with a 3/4 full tank by myself.

    When I removed the vacuum line from the pressure regulator it ripped the boot on it. So I got another one and figured I would try a new regulator as well. They came in today. Replaced the pressure regulator and vacuum line. Still no start, but every time I went to start there was a stumble...

    Tried starting with the fuel pump jumped. Bit of a stumble but still no start. Tried removing vacuum line from pressure regulator. No change at all

    Key and jumping cause pump to run and give pressure. When key to “on” pressure builds to about 50psi. Once you try to start the truck pressure drops to about 40. When key is turned off, pressure begins to steadily fall. Haven’t tried starting with pump jumped though, might try that

    Would fuel pressure regulator on the rail be a culprit? I have not changed it out nor do I know how to test it.

    The hard start happened whenever it felt like it, hot or cold didn’t make a difference. The hard start happened more often than not. Might need a new lock ring. I’m holding out hope I don’t. It was a Texas plains truck and now in the NW where it gets washed regularly. There is almost no rust on it.
