    As far as I know only one is needed as long as it's kept the right distance so it gets heated to the right temperature if not it must be swapped for a heated sensor. I checked mine today and it was a 3 wire setup. I unplugged it then plugged it back up and it ran better but after turning it off...

    No I don't have the money to do such a thing but it's just curiosity due to the high amount of GM Duramax powered pickups that are popping up as salvage titled due to body damage with intact chassis and powertrains.

    So I'm picking up tomorrow a winch from a friend and I've thought on mounting it between the frame rails behind the bumper. I know warn used to make a plate for such mounts. Has anyone used one or made a custom mount as such?
