How bad is your mileage towing an RV?
i would get between 12 and 14 mpg towing a 3200# camper plus all the stuff for me and the wife for a road trip from east coast to west coast and back.- tirekicker

Reduced engine power
i had these codes and it was a bad pin in the main wire harness .i would highly recommend you test injectors and electrical connections before you "tear down" anything- tirekicker

Ticking noise coming from engine
if you give it a chance i think you will really like the k2 platform ....you just have to understand how its tuned and other differences from the earlier models...and are actually really good despite what some people on the forums say- tirekicker

yes you'll get a code ,i think allot of times people hear the high pressure fuel pump and think it a lifter...also the electric fans will "tick" as well sometimes ...basically these engines sound like crap when they idle- tirekicker
