The truck has been perfect since the lifters were replaced. They aren't speculating that the lifters influenced/were influenced by the battery, but man, that's an odd coincidence. How are you cleaning your Yukon's stock exhaust tips?
P21S polishing soap occasionally. For my weekly washes, I use the same product that I use on my wheels, which is P&S Brake Buster (similar name, different brand). I will say, stay on top of them if this sort of thing bothers you. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure... -

Fabric wheel liners?
An electric pressure washer cleans them out in one or two passes. I do it during my weekly wash. 40 degree tip. 1500 or so PSI. Look at options from a brand called Active. Greatly prefer felt to the plastic of yesterday. -

Service Safety Restraint system - need permanent fix please!!
