    What's this wire do?

    2001 Tahoe LT. In the driver's side mirror I have a plug with two wires not connected to anything. I did not see one in the passenger side mirror. The wire are red and black w/a red stripe. I initially thought turn signal, but I'm not reading any power from it. Everything works on the mirror...

    Same here. Found a guy on C/L parting one out and the back glass was good. I think I paid $50 as well.

    Tab is okay. The flat part(lens I guess) has separated from the box part where the bulb holder is located. I guess I could glue them back together.

    Anyone know of a source for replacement puddle light housings? Looked around and only came across OEM and they were more expensive than aftermarket headlights.
