    Fan-like Sound Above Your Head

Just started. (2005 XL) A fan-like sound from above the drivers' head! Aha...this makes sense...from another thread. However...it's description says it's only on when the blower is on and mine is on as soon as ignition is ON..?!?!?!? General Motors GM Genuine Parts 22834330 Cabin Air...

    Third Brake Light Replacement Options

Had the same issue. Kept blowing that fuse. Ended up dropping a line from the 3rd light and spliced in to the regular brake lights by-passing that whole circuit. Hey...it works.

Hi all fixing up my 2003 tahoe - Window switch issue

Heard a slight clicking from the RR door. Stopped when I disconnected the switch. As a quick & simple test you can just temporarily install it on the other side and visa versa. I found I had a bad RR switch...$15 on Amazon. Wondered just what can make a window switch go bad ?!?!?

    Tag Lights - SOLVED

Case Closed. It was the connector behind the RR. It was half-way disconnected !!! I bet the Dealers $95 was for the (not burnt out) bulbs...and plugging in the connector would have been an additional extra hour shop-charge.

    Tag Lights - SOLVED

"Sir, the $95 is just the bulbs...a new wiring harness front-to-back is another $1,000" ! LOL When my 3rd brake light kept blowing fuses...I just ran a wire from it to one of the brake lights and it works fine! I'll just run a wire from the 2 tag lights and splice in to a tail light.

    Tag Lights - SOLVED

This is a 2005. No LED...standard tiny bulbs #194. Tested them on an extra socket I held on the battery = the bulbs work...just not ON the car license plate.

    Tag Lights - SOLVED

2005 Yukon XL Dealer wanted $95 to replace 2 burnt out bulbs !!! Went to Advance Auto for $8 and 30 seconds to plug them in ! New bulbs but they don't light up even with the headlights on. All other lights work ?!?!? Some fuse??? Something else???

    Service 4 Wheel Drive

2005 XL SLT Anyone have this? Seems intermittent, like once a month. Restart and it clears. Just happened again.

    3rd Brake Lite Out

Yes, but, it would blow that fuse once-a-day! The 3rd brake light is on the same circuit as the trailer socket. It was taking too much time & $$$ tracing the wiring from the rear bumper to the fuse box and finding nothing. I ran a wire (and inline fuse) from the 3rd brake light and spliced in to...

Compressor not turning on..Fuse for Autoride.

Aha...I see the confusion = mine is a 2005, that's why mine looks different. I think mine is called a RTD (Ride Control). It's a 30A and looks good...sooo...on to the compressor.

    Check Engine Light

Found an additional code (P0160). Replaced Oxygen sensor. CEL now out. HOWEVER - discovered this: key to ON CEL is on. Start car CEL goes off. BUTT...if you very quickly stop and then key to ON = no CEL. Turn off, wait 5 seconds and to ON = CEL ON. Almost like something is resetting?!?!? Would...
