    Don't know if your Tahoe has remote start if so you should check the remote start relay in the fuse box. My Yukon did the same thing way back when.

    The module has to be programmed before it is any good. I purchased the module online and had GMFLASH program it. It is a bear disconnecting it from the harness so be careful. You can have the dealer program it on the vehicle but it is expensive.
