    My money is that there is a bad ground, or dirty positive - or both. I had the same thing happen. There are several leads to chase, but remove and clean each one.

    Here's a partial report from a scan and a pic of my intake mod. The funny thing is that the code it popped shows it was 64 miles back. But I had just run it at WOT and experienced the missing above 4,500 RPM steadily. For some reason it does not always pop a code.

    I recommend adding a supercharger and you should be conyent for a long time. Definitely the best bamg for the buck.

    I would start with a transmission FLUSH, not just a fluid change. Also have the filter cleaned. Once that's done then move on to the tuning of the ECM and the TCM.
