Low beam bulbs
Anyone else 15-20 Tahoe using H7 bulbs for low beam? I have a 2016 Z71 and a 2018 Z71 and both of them have H7 bulbs. H7 bulbs aren’t listed anywhere as the correct bulb. -
Hitch plug
I’ll try to upload one. It is mounted into the receiver hitch. I initially thought someone had cut a hole and rigged it, but my wife has the same tahoe(2016) model and hers is the same. -

I tried searching here and I have googled it, can’t seem to find any answers. Has anyone replaced the 7 pin trailer plug that is in the receiver hitch? I have no idea how to get the damn thing out! -

Leveling 2016 Z71
I just purchased a 2016 Tahoe Z71. My first of this generation. Had a 2011 and leveled it with a 2 inch spacer under the shocks. I just measured ground to center fender on the 2016 and got the following measurements. Rear 38 6/16, froht 35 10/16(5/8). Roughly 3 inch drop. It’s confusing...- richs1

This is my first Gen 4 Tahoe, just totaled my 2011 a week ago. Buying this 2016 Z71. I know there are going to be some issues and I am hoping this group will be as helpful as other groups I’m in. True, but you have to drop the oil pan to get it out, at least I did on my 2011 Z71- richs1

I’m thinking that is going to be the issue, if I am dropping the oil pan on this one, I’m putting in a new pump along with the o ring- richs1

Just replaced the oil pump on my 2011 Z71. Not the same issue just very low pressure(below 20). 165000 on that one. This one has 114,000 miles.- richs1
