I've searched through this forum and haven't found a thread where someone has successfully swapped an LS into a 97 Yukon (or similar Tahoe). My 5.7 is suffering with low oil pressure and high miles. Is it better to just swap the 5.7 with a new 5.7, or perhaps 383 stroker, is it worth what it...- RGreen

97 Yukon won't shift right when ABS light is on
No lo No loss of power. Whatever is happening it is making it not engage the torque converter lock up. Almost as if it is slipping.- RGreen

I was able to drive it home by manually shifting from low gear to drive. Didn't seem to have any problems when I did it that way.- RGreen

I have a 97 Yukon 4 wd that I am trying to resurrect from under an oak tree in a parking lot. The plans are to use it to pull our travel trailer. Need recommendations on rear shocks, helper springs, etc... Also plan to rebuild the engine down the road. Any suggestions are appreciated.- RGreen
