Don't know about the shafts as I've not done them myself but I've swapped all the parts you have listed. The ball joints weren't too bad, I used the loaner tool from Autozone and air tools. I'm in AZ so my stuff isn't fuzed together by 25 years of road salt.
It's not that hard. Just need a few hand tools and a few new ones that you will need. Follow the ATSG rebuild guide, use good parts and take your time. These things don't fall out of the sky built in the heavens, they are built here on Earth by men ... men like me and you with hands and tools.

I really expected chunks of that ring or pinion to be missing. Perhaps the crush sleeve crushed, it's possible the bearings are bad, there is one in the front and one in the back.
