    You'll probably have to check your harness closely, all the way from the ECM to the injectors. It's not uncommon for heat to affect a weak electrical connection.

    How many miles on the engine? I also concur, 7,000 miles is way too long between oil changes. If you do short trips and basically stay in town in traffic, 3500 miles. If you do mostly highway driving stretch that out to 4500-5,000. I'll put my money on the front camshaft bearing as most likely.

    I was just thinking myself about the coolant temperature sending unit. Is it reading accurate on a bi-directional scanner? And as usual, always check and clean your ground connections.

    That's not even close to being evidence of anything. Reported it as an immediate misfire, then nothing in over 2 years..... And why on Earth when anyone go to this much trouble using hardware that is known to fail way too early. Absolutely nothing to gain.
