Yeah I usually just use a jack under the lower control arm until it picks the frame up off the jack stand then I torque them. Those torque values seem awfully high to me. That’s a whole lotta ass you gotta put into it to hit 130+ ft-lbs. I just used my longest breaker bar and call it a day lol.
Well I was going to go Bilstein but couldn’t quite find a direct replacement without having to assemble them. All the part numbers I found looked different then the stock style strut and didn’t want to risk getting the wrong thing.
Hey folks, just replaced all the suspension components on my 2013 Tahoe LT but I’m having a hard time finding the torque specs for all the components. I replaced U/L control arms, Struts, outer tie rod end, put in a 2in lowering spindle. Anyone have a link to the info? TIA
