I would get a second opinion, but dealers almost always use the book hours for a given job. An experienced tech could probably do it in much less time, but you would have to go to an independent mechanic to get a better price. It is probably less than 20 hours, the labor rate for most dealers...- malba2366

Inline 4 cylinder engines usually sound worse than V6 because they are less balanced. I6 engines are inherently balanced so they generally sound very smooth and refined. V8 rumble is great for motor heads (I admit I am one), but most people will prefer the smoothness of an I6.- malba2366

This is what I have heard as well, it was a very odd decision to drop the turbo I6 that was based on this engine, especially considering the unresolved issue they are having with the V8 engines. The 4 cyl may be a bit underpowered for the heavier SUVs...it is probably workable with a hybrid but...- malba2366

They hung their hat on keeping V8s around, but the system that allows them to keep the V8 is troublesome. 4 Cyl engines would be a very tough sell in these SUVs especially at 70-80k+ price points because of the lack of refinement. Best place to buy GMC accessories?
Pull up the parts on the GMC website. Google the part number and find the cheapest dealer to buy from. The problem with the mats is that the boxes are pretty bulky so the shipping charges may outweigh just buying them from the dealer.- malba2366

2024 Yukon USB Ports
It is probably set up to read files off a USB flash drive and not to interface with an iPod or other device. I would probably format it to the older FAT32 format because most car entertainment systems are very rudimentary in terms of their capabilities.- malba2366

According to Consumer Reports these vehicles have a "5.9 to 8.2 percent" rate of major engine repairs. The bigger problem is that GM has no idea how to fix these lifter issues. You find a 1% catastrophic engine failure rate to be within normal limits for an automobile in 2024? We are talking about failures at low mileage/relatively new vehicles, not a rebuild after 100,000 miles.- malba2366
