I am in the process of relocating the power outlets (both cigarette lighter and the 110v) from the dash to a new floor console. I am having trouble removing the cigarette lighter one from the original dash panel. I do NOT have the removal tool so am winging it here to get it out without...
How did you test the 110v plug? I used a voltmeter and got nothing. Thinking it wasn't operable, I did the next best thing and RTFM. According to the manual, there is no current supplied to the outlet UNTIL there is something plugged in and drawing that current. Safety feature I suppose. Might...
eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/295162201862
Originally I had one bought from Amazon but I didn't like the patterns or brightness so I got this one instead.
Visibility of course! Along with being a licensed firearm dealer, I also do mapping flights using a drone. This usually requires me to go out to an area that either has or can have heavy equipment in the area (construction site, aggregate pit, etc). I am usually required to have on the required...
The strobes are from Amazon and the 18" lightbar is from eBay. The links for both are below:

The lightbar is supposed to be mounted inside but I...
UPDATE:
Build is still progressing. I have one more lightbar to mount in the back window (accepting suggestions on mounting it from those with experience) and the lighting portion will be done. It goes in fto get new shoes tomorrow and then the console and all the related stuff that goes into it...
Not for that particular console but the floor plate for the Troy that came in the Tahoe is still there so I figured it wouldn't be that hard to make it work.
The prices I've seen for new ones are around $700-$1000. *Used* ones are going for $500-$600, So SOMEBODY thinks they are... ;-)
If anyone in the AZ area has one that they'd like to get rid of, please let me know. Not looking forward to the drive but also not paying $600 for a used one either...
I agree that there is something missing from the front. I decided against the strobes like I already have and went with something different. I'll post more when they arrive.
On another note, since my Troy console went wherever the mechanic that was modifying it went (and didn't tell me where...
Progress update: Slowly but surely I am getting things going. I've gotten all LED flashers working on the front. Debating with myself if I should add two more to the push bar. Opinions welcome. Also, updated the taillights & backup lights to LED bulbs. Had to use load equalizers for the brake...
I know that this is a REAL old post but wondered if you still had those center caps and attaching hardware. If so, would you consider selling them separate?
2 questions:
1) If I was to just run a new connection from the rear electrical panel to the center console area, what would be the minimum wire size, fuse protection and routing (easiest, least amount of tear-apart needed)
2) If I was to just run a new connection from the center console area...
