2/3 drop needs improvement in ride

Tony, when you see my update here, can you let me know how much for the end links, if I should change the stabilizer bar brackets/bushings, and if I cut the bracket that holds the bumpstop, do you have a different bumpstop like Red mentioned?

2/3 drop needs improvement in ride

Thanks for the input. Look forward to Tony telling me what I need to do/buy. I've searched a bit, but the free travel mod sounds like cutting the plate off the axle that the bump stop hits. Is that correct? Just take a grinding wheel to it? What will prevent bottoming out? Will...

2/3 drop needs improvement in ride

Y'all might shoot me... I have about 3/8" to the rear bumper stop (didn't trim). Perhaps that is the core of my issue? I didn't trim the fronts either, but that may not be the issue here. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

2016 tahoe led strips in headlights

I'm thinking about just replacing mine with aftermarkets that look better anyway. Can get 2 for less than 1 OEM replacement Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

2/3 drop needs improvement in ride

I'll measure tomorrow when I am home. Should I have gone with different springs? I was going with mcgaughys drop cups and rear springs, but they were back ordered. Guys said the MaxTracs were about the same. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

2/3 drop needs improvement in ride

Lol, sorry guys. Max Trac 2/3 spring kit. Sits level. Shock extenders in rear. No bump stops cut. I don't bottom out, but it just seems that the spring rate is causing a little too much float when recovering from dips in the road at high speed. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

2/3 drop needs improvement in ride

Looking to have a better ride since my drop (spring replacements). Would replacing the shocks do it? 60k miles and original shocks. Little to bouncy. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

2016 tahoe led strips in headlights

Mine too. Left strip is half out on my LT. I don't know what is causing it. I'm thinking about just replacing both headlamp assemblies with aftermarket. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    HID malfunction

Mine is OOW, unfortunately. 61K miles. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    HID malfunction

Mine too. Half the passenger side LEDs stopped working. Cheaper to replace both with Spyders then 1 OEM headlight. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    HID malfunction

I'm going to switch at some point. It's a PITA, and I don't understand why it does it with a relay and capacitors. Strange thing is, if I remote start, it's always OK when I put the key in. Only gives me problems at night when the headlights come on right at crank. Sent from my SM-G935V...

2015 Tahoe LT LED headlamp strip issue

My right headlight LED strip in the headlamp have the last few LEDs out. Any ideas? Are they actually LEDs, or bulbs and one is out that feed those last few segments? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    HID malfunction

I have the same issue. Random 1 headlight or both out. Have to shut off auto and turn it back on to get them to work. Sometimes, multiple times. I have the relay and capacitors too... Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Bolt pattern

Just because you are getting your truck "bagged" doesn't mean they are ripping out the suspension. Bagging it will just replace/augment the suspension components like shocks and springs, not replacing things like the knuckle/spindle or hub. The hub is what you would need to find a replacement...
