Sold -2015-2020 Dual Back-Up Battery Controller and Cables

It was sold. Hence the Sold in the title. It sure has been popular though. I should sell kits!

    I'm Gonna Miss You Guys!

I was sure I was going to trade the Suburban in on a GMC and I really liked my Chevy dealer, but on the test drive there were a couple things I didn’t like. The Gwiz features weren’t as self-explanatory, the connection between the gas pedal and moving kind of had a lag, and the seats weren’t as...

Sold -2015-2020 Dual Back-Up Battery Controller and Cables

Having sold my 2019 Sub, I am passing on my dual battery setup using GM parts and the HellRoaring BIC-100M. In this setup, the driver's side battery is purely a starting backup battery. When the truck is running it is being charged if necessary. When not running, the driver side back-up battery...

    I'm Gonna Miss You Guys!

Last 30 day camping trip my wife decided we needed a bigger camper. That quickly pushed me out of the Suburban and into a F-350. I thought for sure I would buy a GMC 3500HD but the Ford suited me better. Don't flame me! I traded in the Suburban last week and pick up the new camper next week...

    Missing axle nut

I had a 2002 Explorer, it was one of the prototypes “NOT TO BE SOLD TO RETAIL CUSTOMER” but somehow after the development phase it was released, to me. Great car! The Explorer forum back then was very active. A year or two ago I dropped in to see what was happening and it was dead. All the...

    Maximum Sustained RPM Recommendation?

Returned home last week. 4600 trouble free miles. Found out it does use about 8oz oil per 1000miles pulling the camper. Practically none when not pulling the camper. I wonder what the intake valves look like now after pulling the camper that many miles in 4th in the heat.

    Tow behind braking system

I used a P3 for years and it was easy to install. My friend uses a Curt Echo inline with the app and it also works good. The curt echo sometimes gets bad reviews but with Amazon you could try it and if you don’t like it, return it. I liked his because when we were working on his brakes we...

    Brake fluid change

I am trying to remember. The rear was on jack stands just high enough to get the wheels off. The front tires were probably on the ground. The garage slopes slightly and the front was at the high end. I inadvertently left a rear brake bleeder cracked open when i ran out to the parts store...

    Brake fluid change

When I did what you did I was able to have an assistant press the brake pedal while I cracked the brake line fittings at the MC. That worked for me to get the last little bubble out of the MC. Good luck.

    Maximum Sustained RPM Recommendation?

Amazing I ran 1000 miles pulling the camper at 70+MPH in 4th in the heat and apparently didn’t burn a drop of oil.

Is this a Death Sentence (frame rust)

I told them to stop spraying my plastic wheel well liners and spray metal than can rust. They got mad. ;)
