    Front marker light wiring question

I am adding some front marker lights to my grille and am curious what the opinion is on which lights to tap into? DRL or Parking lamps seem to make sense, but which one? If the vote is parking lamps, which wires? I have Blue, Purple and Black.

Complete Spohn rear end 2007-2011 $300

I am on my 2nd round of adjustment. They seem good for a couple of days and then get noisy again. Did you ever use thread locker or anything during the adjustment? I didn't see that in the instructions, but I might have to resort to it.

    Lq9 swap

Just finished my LQ9 swap in an 04 Tahoe. I kept the 317 heads with just a touch of cleanup polishing. Cam, springs, rocker trunnions, MLS gaskets and half the ARP catalog. HP Tuners custom tune on 91 octane and it's kind of rowdy. I cant imagine another point of CR.

    Help me here please

I wouldn't discount bad grounds. I had a bad ground when I did my engine swap and I had all kinds of stuff going on. Stupid things like the rear wiper running all the time with the key on, and it ended up being the frame ground off the battery was bad. On an 03 I would check all the grounds.

    Engine harness plug identification

Finally got all of the wiring sorted (stupid dummy fuse in the fuse block), and the LQ9 is running. Holy crap. I don't know if the 5.3 was just that tired, but the 6.0 is night and day different. The tuner has serious concerns about the 4L60e surviving, so starting work on getting an 4L80e...

Thank you for checking. I haven’t put the rad support back in yet. Hopefully it will be obvious once I do.

    Engine harness plug identification

I am going to start it on the factory flex fuel ecu and tune, but it will be headed to the dyno for proper tuning after break in.

    Engine harness plug identification

Turns out the mystery plug on the passanger side plugged into a sensor on the AC line just in front of the compressor. Engine is ready for fluids and first start up. 2004 Tahoe LQ9 with BTR "TruckNorris" cam, springs, rockers Ported 317 heads Lowered on Eibach ProKit+DJM+Spohn

    Engine harness plug identification

I think that handles the ground. I will update if I find the home for the smaller plug.

    Engine harness plug identification

I already have the ac clutch plugged in. It’s on the same branch of the harness as the ac clutch. The ground I am looking is the smaller of the two coming right off the negative battery terminal. I think it goes to the frame somewhere.

    Engine harness plug identification

Also, the smaller ground cable from the battery. Where does that go to?

    Engine harness plug identification

2004 Tahoe LS - Street Touring Style

So this project may be dead. I had a ton of problems with the engine I bought and slowly I have just lost steam. The tahoe lost oil pressure completely a couple of weeks ago and I am just questioning whether I have the motivation to keep going. I am going to drop the oil pan soon and see if...
