    It's rotting from the tire side in. I could probably put a screwdriver thru it in several places there. my buddy that did the conversion work said the whole area needs to be replaced.

    That's funny about the Honda. Can't believe how many views this thread has gotten. Crazy. BTW, The Escalakon is sitting in my neighbors garage. Waxed detailed and covered. Hasn't been out in a month or so. I'll be driving it again this weekend for a while. Still nothing on the tail-lights.

    Marv's Auto Electric rebuilt the original one for $55. Took about 20 minutes to put back in. Runs great.
