Meh, dollar waiting on a dime.. fuel vs gasoline price is being a tiny nit-picking for most of us regular guys, and I'm guessing some of you go out of the way to pick up a penny from off the sidewalk too ?- GoNoGo

Would you wait for the 2024?
I love the pb trans shifter, no clutter nor dash-area blockages due to any shifter knob hanging out there in mid-space. My '06 Silverado's shift lever totally blocks my view of the HVAC readout and I'm having to bob -n- weave my head just to see the darned temps and whether recirculation is...- GoNoGo

Battery Life when parked, 2023 Tahoe
Once kept a MB suv parked in Syracuse Airport parking deck during 07-08 winter for more than 2 months, and she started right up. fuel filter change @ dealer
Small town locally owned oil change place charges $65 if I supply fuel filter, plus they do the carfax reporting so adds to the warranty performance. Trying to remember if the 65 dollar price is only if combined with an oil change or is a stand-alone price. My getting old sucks.- GoNoGo

Dunno if this maybe or not helps, but there's a CC "standby or off" mode that's on the steering wheel left thumb controller push buttons. Sometimes I will try to turn on CC with the left thumb roll up/down knob by rolling it down.. but nothing happens. So I have to fiddle with the outer 2...- GoNoGo

I've only missed not being in my 6.2L suburban a couple times in past 3-4 months, today happened to be one of those days when I was passing a 50-52 mph car going up a slight grade, then he decides to be a bully and zoom to 68 which gave me a struggle to pass within the passing zone in my 3.0L...- GoNoGo

2023 Tahoe LT Duramax (w/ Luxury Package) - Initial thoughts after 3k miles
Congrats, great that you like the new Tahoe with the baby diesel :thumbsup: Not positive about ACC retrofit but I suspect is a no. My '23 suburbans shut off after 30 minutes of idling (or 10 minutes remote starting), strange yours kept going like the energirzer bunny, LOL. I have 24mpg...- GoNoGo

Hard to find a Yukon optioned the way I want nearby, so...

Same part, different motors.. GM Authority published something recently about the wet oil pump belt replacement being pushed out to 200,000 on the LZ0 motor and 150,000 on the LM2. Don't forget the penny per mile cost for the wet oil pump belt "service job" required at 150,000 miles on our Duromax SUV's that our gasser SUV's don't have :thumbsup: ** GM says it's a 7 hour job plus parts and shop supplies, so I'd guess +/- $1500 at a GM dealer.- GoNoGo

Ford now offers an option to remove Auto Start/Stop when ordering, is GM offering it?
It's not like the auto-stop start button is the ONLY button you have to push when starting the car, for me it's just one in a symphony of buttons, knobs and levers I manulipulae every morning that I drive my Surburban to the end of the driveway :thumbsup:- GoNoGo
