It is as I stated that reads 3 pounds. "However the sticker on the a/c unit under my hood states 3 pounds. This leads me to the next point of confusion where posts states that GM sometimes used the 3 pound sticker regardless of the option code..."- eldoradovinny

Does anyone know the right amount of freon required for a 1997 Tahoe LS without rear air. I see posts of 2, 2.25 and 3 pounds. The posts also state that trucks only equipped with front a/c is between 2-2.25 pounds. However the sticker on the a/c unit under my hood states 3 pounds. This leads me...- eldoradovinny
