    I got a Kenwood 376BT, but it doesn't have NAV. The 374BT does, but doesn't have modern google/apple integration. See if there's a newer DDX model, maybe? Crutchfield is a good place to start and has a search where you can specify features and ensure compatibility.

    If he has a preamp out, that will work. Using a LOC from the bose subwoofer or D pillar speakers will also work, although I would be hesitant to use the D Pillars because they might be EQ'd to only have high or mid frequencies.
