But ironically Chevy Truck Legends gifted this to me for that little black cloud that follows around my Tahoe. Sometimes the jokes write themselves....
So this just happened to my 2016. Torque converter went and took the transmission with it. I was shocked. No transmission should go at 85k miles, especially a Chevy truck transmission. I now see it seems to be a fairly common problem.
I was given 3 options: (1) my local mechanic has a guy that...
That's exactly what I do too. When it didn't beep I started checking all the doors. Didn't notice the glass hatch was popped (must have hit the wrong button on the FOB) until I went to start it and saw the warning message. Felt like a big dumbass (especially after posting the thread).... LOL...
Ha ha. We all have our moments. LOL
Thanks for the other thread. As luck would have it, I'm having beers with my buddy who owns a Corvette/GM Performance Shop on Friday so hopefully he can take a quick look at it.
Nah, I'm just an idiot. I must have accidentally popped the glass hatch instead of the trunk yesterday. Opened and closed every door multiple times last night but didn't realize the glass hatch was open until I started it this morning and saw the warnings message.
Thanks for the reply.

Hey all,
i just noticed when I hit the key fob to lock and arm the alarm on my 2016 Tahoe, it doesn't beep and my interior lights stay on. I checked all the doors and trunk. They all appear to be closed fully. Not sure what's going on. Any ideas?
Thanks for any help you can provide....
Didn't notice the cutout. I'll take a look at them.
Yeah, a friend of mine told me to get a bug deflector for my 2009. I never did and it got plenty of scars on the front of the hood so I thought about getting one on my new (to me) Tahoe.
Didn't know whether to put this in exterior or interior since its both. Whats the collective opinion on the stock Chevy deflector and mats versus the aftermarket. Was thinking of getting WeatherTech mats but saw Chevy had their own. Same question on the bug deflector. Thanks.
Thanks. Thats what I think I have to do
Have a work phone and personal phone. Thought it'd be nice to answer either phone though the truck on the fly.
Thought about trying that - having one plugged in through car play and seeing if the other could stay linked to the bluetooth. I'll try it...
Hey guys, just upgrade from a 2009 to a 2016. Quick question: can you hook up 2 phones to Apple Car Play? I have a work iPhone and a personal iPhone and was wondering what is the best way to integrate both phones if possible so that I could take calls and possibly view/have read to me things...
