Once again sorry for being so long and know I put in some repeats typing so much. That connector under dash with 5 wires ripped off I know need to be fixed for sure and all of them traced and checked where hoping short to ground is coming from.
I do have the 10,000 page plus factory service...
This will be long so grab something with caffeine being a weird wiring problem…
My airbag light came on and message center comes up service airbag after start up knowing it does a system check twice looking for faults. Originally B1000 (front left/drivers side) front end sensor performance was...
I had my airbag light come on and service airbag on my 2005 Tahoe too. We had no Spring weather and temperatures went from 50’s degree Fahrenheit to the 90’s overnight and that’s when it came on. Tahoe always parked in garage and do not see any water damage under the seat being dry, but garage...
I finally got around to figuring it out and fixing it.
The OBD scanner I originally had was not the best and did have ABS on it, but was very limited. My new one was not cheap, but it just paid for itself with it having endless features.

I now leaning towards something brake related and here is why...Traffic was moving pretty good and it came to a super fast stop and that right front sounded horrible when braking to stop... Then just driving a little bit more seemed way off with weird sounds... So need to check that out.... Just...
Here is an update, but not cold enough to do it yet... I did have to change the power steering pump due to it going bad just a couple months ago and went with full synthetic fluid. Then I notice my alternator had a squeal when I was cleaning under the hood this summer and recently noticed it was...
I have the EXACT same problem with my 2005 Tahoe when it is cold out like below say 30 degrees or so I think I know what you mean... Squealing noise when cold and when it warms up it goes away. Colder it is out the longer it takes and goes away slower right? Summer time 100% gone.
I know metal...
