    Engine runs cold

I always wanted to restore a car, but thought I’d start with something like a classic Beetle and have a garage bay to do it in, not something with miles of wiring and on the curb

    Engine runs cold

Yeah. The .45 is working well and the front heater core is working great, but the rear is useless. We have to order some house and fittings so that we can open it up and flush it directly instead of trying to flush it from the front because the rear connectors are being stubborn and I’m certain...

    Engine runs cold

That’s great! I know I’ve got 9, 10, .40, .454, .45 Colt, .308, and 5.56. Thanks for the suggestion! Thanks for the temp sensor advice, I confirmed no power to the fans and tested the relays. All three were bad with open circuits across the coil connections. $60 at Autozone and we’ve got...

It slowly warms up while idling and will eventually get up to 210-215 (read with my OBD2 live data, dash gauge matches pretty well) without the fans ever turning on. We replaced the fan...

    Headlight Adjuster assistance

Thanks. We’re going to try the scrapyard again soon. Last week, they were all rusted to junk.

    Headlight Adjuster assistance

They're basically like these (screenshot from YouTube), but with Torx drive. I've seen a few that appear somewhat similar, but will look again. Thanks for the assists so far.

    Headlight Adjuster assistance

My son just got a 2005 XL and the headlight adjusters are shot. All of them Where can I find the proper parts? GM doesn’t carry them all from what I can tell and I’d like to avoid exchanging parts repeatedly trying to find the proper ones. It wouldn’t be too bad if the lights were aimed anywhere...
