Thanks. I got the paperwork from the dealer and the mechanic replaced both motor mounts, flushed transmission and replaced shocks all before selling it to me
I checked the pan and there was no active oil / seeping. My mechanic only noted that the oil pan gasket was probably replaced in the past because there was old sludge but nothing active.
Where exactly is the inspection port if you don't mind telling me?
Thanks
So a while back I posted that I had some oil drops in the driveway and when I looked under the Tahoe it was seeping near the transmission pan. About 3 weeks ago I finally had my mechanic replace the oil cooler gasket as suggested. On Friday, I noticed 2 oil drops back on the driveway so I went...
Thanks for all the info!
Question since ya’ll are so knowledgeable: What would lifter replacement cost at a mechanic normally and what other parts would I replace while doing that without much other labor?
Just trying to get a ballpark of how much I need to save down the road.
Thanks again!
Thanks, ill order the parts and have my mechanic do it next oil change. Is it best to order the whole oil cooler line assembly seeing as they are the original ones on the car? Only $54 on RockAuto
Thanks. Is it a hard job to do the oil cooler line and block off gaskets being a 4WD?
Also, any insight on the oil thats on the rubber boot next to the transmission pan? Its not far from the oil filter but looks far enough to me to be a seperate leak than that.
my oil pressure actually increased...
Back on here for more recs as ya’ll were helpful last time. Me hanic is booked until next week.

Lokls like there is some oil build up right above the filter (housing) and also looks like some oil on a part near the transmission pan, although there is no sign of any leak...
I got a guage myself and realized why the O’Reilly guy said it was good. He was measuring it when the compressor was not engaging. I got a gauge myself and when the compressor engaged, it went to the LOW side. I got an small r134a recharge bottle and the problem is almost fixed(barely hit the...
Thanks. I will have my mechanic put it on real a/c gauges on my next oil change. We live in Los Angeles, ambient temp right now is 60’s but it will be getting hot soon lol. Luckily, it still blows cold for a/c and hot for the heater
Ok, after filming it it seems like its going on and off. Went to O’Reilly and they tested the refrigerant level and it was perfect (green). I did not see any Deslugger either. Here is the video. Could it be a bad pressure switch?
I think it’s done this since owning it since Nov 2021 but can’t remember. It’s def more noticeable. Yes its a clicking of the clutch cycling on and off. Ill try and post a video in an hour
I will look and let you know, thank you for that info! I am the second owner, the first and original owner was Border Patrol and it was used on the Border in Arizona.
