    Who here has had their rigs painted? How much did you pay? My Denali's beautiful Redfire Metallic paint is fading pretty badly on the hood and roof. Kind of embarrassed to see it in this state.     I use BlueDriver for most of my code reading. It pulls codes deeper than most generic scanners and the app is very user friendly and helpful at explaining what the problem is, how common it is, and user-reported fixes.

    I know this sounds counter intuitive, but instead of replacing the amp (if that is the problem) you might consider replacing the radio with an aftermarket head unit and bypassing the amp (properly of course ;)).

    My guess would be to start tracing those wires from the previous owner. If they had a aftermarket head unit installed, they likely bypassed the factory amp.

    You don't have the Bose radio right? I know in my rig, there is a Bose amplifier that must receive the signal to turn on, otherwise no sound.
