Well the resistors worked. No more issue with the infotainment. All rear taillights swapped to LEDs- alexYukon16

Bought (2) 6 ohm resistors for the reverse. Will be installing tomorrow and updating here. Hopefully that’ll fix it- alexYukon16

2023 Tahoe LT. So I just installed 3 different pairs of LEDs with “error free”. The first set were lasfit that didn’t turn on at all. Second were a pair of alla lighting leds. I bought new housing on eBay. H3 halogen bulbs instead of the p-series. So I went to TRS and picked up some morimoto 3000k h3c's. Started swapping out the piss yellow for nice yellow and had to gorilla glue the light since the bracket didn't fit over the HID bulb. Then I siliconed the area...- alexYukon16

9005 dust covers = no LED's?!?!?
Now my only question is: if the cap is meant to keep out moisture then the housing is air tight. How will the led cool itself off- alexYukon16

DiY led mirror puddle lights
I need to now how to wire led strips under the driver and rear driver, and pass and rear passenger doors 4 small led strips or 2 longer ones. Make no difference. Where!?! I found putco led 9005 with a mesh heat sync maybe that'll fit behind the cap- alexYukon16

I have the factory HID's. HID/halogen low beam/Hi beam. i want to change out those halogens and drop in something better. do you think moisture would be an issue? maybe i should get a set of dust caps and try modifying those and keep the original... any idea where i can get them- alexYukon16

Read up on why the dust cover is needed. Long story short, moisture and electronic components don't mix. So my new question is, are there any high powered LED 9005 bulbs I could use WITH a dust cap?- alexYukon16
