LED reverse lights and camera view infotainment

2023 Tahoe LT. So I just installed 3 different pairs of LEDs with “error free”. The first set were lasfit that didn’t turn on at all. Second were a pair of alla lighting leds. These would blink once then stay on so I swapped those out for the last pair which didnt blink. As expected got the...

    Homemade hid fogs...

I bought new housing on eBay. H3 halogen bulbs instead of the p-series. So I went to TRS and picked up some morimoto 3000k h3c's. Started swapping out the piss yellow for nice yellow and had to gorilla glue the light since the bracket didn't fit over the HID bulb. Then I siliconed the area...

    9005 dust covers = no LED's?!?!?

Now my only question is: if the cap is meant to keep out moisture then the housing is air tight. How will the led cool itself off

    9005 dust covers = no LED's?!?!?

Nice!!!! Thanks. I'm wondering if modifying the dust caps would work... Maybe a little silicone, pvc, and ingenuity would help

    DiY led mirror puddle lights

I need to now how to wire led strips under the driver and rear driver, and pass and rear passenger doors 4 small led strips or 2 longer ones. Make no difference. I would, however, if it is the 4 individual LED's, wire them to each door, accordingly (feel as if they're too many ","). Btw it's a...

    9005 dust covers = no LED's?!?!?

I have the factory HID's. HID/halogen low beam/Hi beam. i want to change out those halogens and drop in something better. do you think moisture would be an issue? maybe i should get a set of dust caps and try modifying those and keep the original... any idea where i can get them

    9005 dust covers = no LED's?!?!?

I'm starting to consider swapping out the halogens for HIDs instead. But I still run into the dust cap issue

    9005 dust covers = no LED's?!?!?

Read up on why the dust cover is needed. Long story short, moisture and electronic components don't mix. So my new question is, are there any high powered LED 9005 bulbs I could use WITH a dust cap?

    9005 dust covers = no LED's?!?!?

have been looking into LEDs for my 9005 high beams but the ones that seem to look best, in terms of the way the diodes are positioned, have this oldschool pc heat sync looking thing behind them and have a picture with my dust cover crossed out. Id like to know the reason why this is. Is it...

    1. Can the fog lights be rigged to turn on when the headlights are on? 2. I've seen the replacement fog light housings online but come with a "5202" bulb socket and connection. The OEM socket and switch on my YXLD is psx26w. Now my question is would the replacement housing melt with HID heat? I...
