Help with Double din radio install and appropriate harnesses

Are you replacing a factory navi in the '08? If not, and are just upgrading, you will need the head unit as well as another plug (X4) that will allow you to bring VSS (vehicle speed sense) input to the unit. However, if you DO NOT have an amp in your '08, give up on doing a factory navi, since...

Help with Double din radio install and appropriate harnesses

Or maybe something like this that's all plug and play with no adapters or programming needed?: https://www.adcmobile.com/product/dynavin-navi-for-gm-vehicles-gm2007/

Wiring for rap (retained accessory power)?

Do you have factory-installed headrests? That's the only option I've ever seen that plug location occupied by. If so, you can just tap into the wire populated at the pin 8 location. If you don't have a wire from pin 8, pull the block and get it from the rear.

Wiring for rap (retained accessory power)?

That's funny - the picture of the diagram is off of our website (adcmobile.com) - I made that! :- )

Wiring for rap (retained accessory power)?

I believe it is for driver door only - the same as the factory radio.

REMOTE START - Possible to Keep car on after taking key out?

Using the FLRSGM10 add-on for the factory remote keyless, you can set up a 35 minute run time. If you haven't gotten a remote start yet, the FLRSGM10 is a great option, since it can be pre-programmed which allows you to do the install yourself in under 20 minutes, and there is no cutting or...

    Video streaming

If your phone has an adapter available that allows HDMI output, we have a cable that runs $49 that converts HDMI to analog AV (Red/White/Yellow RCA's) so you can plug into the rear screen input RCA's, then you can mirror anything on your phone (apps, games, video, etc.)

Wiring for rap (retained accessory power)?

RAP power is accessible in only one place that I know of - at the LEFT IP Junction block. This is the junction block on the firewall between the foot brake and the e-brake pedal. If you remove the cover, you'll see two columns of ports, some that have plugs plugged into them, as well as a few...

    Rosen Nav in 07 Yukon

The GM1210 actually had a fairly decent internal amp, but honestly it doesn't compare to adding an outboard amp. The only thing that might hold you up on adding an amp is if the original installer didn't leave the harness that had all of the output RCAs for amps plugged in. Most of the time, if...

    Rosen PR-GM1210

Ramiro, You have to go into the mirror harness - it IS NOT available at the kick panel as is mentioned in this thread. If you get logged into the ADC Mobile website (you now have access to all the tech materials), you will need to go tho the "Avalanche/SUV" section of the Camera Support page...

Old phone as dedicated GPS with a "twist" question

You don't get factory touchscreen control of the phone if that's what you mean, but if you wanted to display apps that Apple Car Play won't allow, then this is the only way to do it as far as I am aware....

Old phone as dedicated GPS with a "twist" question

Only way we know how to do this is with a mirroring input module like this one: https://www.adcmobile.com/product/multi-camera-interface-for-chevrolet-vehicles/ This gives you an HDMI input to mirror the phone, and the audio can run via Bluetooth. It will also allow you to add up to four...

    GM Autostart SHORT run time

The parts are available from us, but I don't know who would sell them for the same price near you. You would need the programmer to do it as well ($40), which we do not have, but it's available on EBay. We ship everywhere, so really all you'd need to do would be to find an installer if you...

    GM Autostart SHORT run time

FYI: Any time we do aftermarket remote start, we ALWAYS set them for a minimum of 25 minutes, and we've had some customers opt for 45 minutes. It's easier to start it and let it run until you get to the car rather than have it time out and have to remember to hit the start process again. Also...
