Probably another 100lbs. I tried removing my factory rack but some of the threaded inserts came undone so I said F it. :) If I made it so that it would be bolted where the factory rack is, it'd hold a good 500lbs easy. ;)

Here it is, I simply made some "feet" that are bolted thru the bars. It's not exactly the way I wanted to do it at first, but it should be ok for now.
So there's two bolts on each corner plus one bolt in the center of each bar. (10 bolts altogether) Hope this helps !

Haha ! Well, I wanna enjoy it for a while first. ;)
But I think it cost me around 160-180$ for materials. I started in February though and finished two days ago. Very time consuming, just to make sure it's square and flat.

So I started taking my factory rack off yesterday...and well bad news for me, one bolt didn't come off because of rust. I think the threaded insert inside the vehicle came undone (spot-welded maybe?) and now it's spinning without going anywhere.
