    Think I'll stick to the instructions like you did. Just wanted to make sure I get everything before I start. I'll add a torque wrench to the list. Good idea with the cleaning. I know it's a real mess under there.

    I've been following this thread. I've diagnosed my oil pan gasket as leaking for sure. Just want to make sure I get the right gasket and figure out if I should or should not use RTV sealant. Definitely don't want to have to do this twice.

    6.0 Swap in GA - Any help?

    So I have pretty much convinced myself to keep the hoe and swap in a 6.0. The problem is I don't know enough to do the swap myself let alone rebuild a motor if necessary. Anyone know of any shops that won't completely rip me off??

    Yes I intend to replace the other side in the near future if I still have the hoe. I have been looking for something newer lately but haven't found anything I like.

    I incorrectly assumed that in order for a wheel bearing to cause that type of vibration there would be noticeable play. Now I know.

    Indeed he did. The fact that I couldn't detect any play at the 12 and 6 kept me from changing it right away. I still think that was odd.

    So for an update I did resolve my vibration issue. To get to the point it was the drivers side wheel bearing. It became easier to diagnose as the noise became louder and I could tell it was from the drivers side. After checking everything else on the front end I went ahead and replaced the...
