I'm sending my bumper trim cap and rear Esky applique's back to the paint shed for a new top coat this week. There was some contamination when I rattle canned them myself last fall and I'm not happy with the way they look. Since the shop made the parts I sent in last month look amazing, I ordered some more paint and decided to have them shoot the above mentioned parts again.
I'm considering color matching my lower valance as well to give the front end a full blue look except for the chrome bumper.
Here are my questions:
1. Leave the lower valance the way it looks now. (I hit it with Krylon semi-gloss black and clear coated it in October 2014 to cover the OEM grey textured color)?
2. Have the lower valance painted gloss black in the shed?
3. Color match the lower valance blue so that the entire front end is color matched (minus the chrome bumper)?
I'm still planning to leave the front and rear bumpers chrome to pick up the chrome on the Esky roof rack. Still working on new 22" wheels. Maybe this summer something will change, but for now the LTZ reps will have to stay.
Here's a few pics to get some perspective. Let me know what you think. Thx.
