It's kind of ******** that your dealer can't just go down to the train yard and sign it out. I understand why they do it this way but the thing is RIGHT THERE!

It's a union thing. They have to have it delivered.

Scott!!!!! Where't your truck?!?!?!

I did (finally) get to see it!
It arrived at the dealer Saturday. It's still in plastic wrap and needs to be serviced and detailed, should be ready tomorrow!!!

4/30 - first order. Never accepted by GM. Turns out that's a good thing.
9/9 - (re)ordered. Received build week of 10/06.
10/6-10/7 - 4B00 built and bayed (have VIN).
10/28 - Moved from Arlington across the freeway to Grand Prairie.
10/31 - 4200 Shipped.
11/17 - Arrived at local rail yard in Portland.
11/22 - Arrive at dealer.
11/24 - Crossing fingers... Will arrive my driveway

Glad to hear of your arrival
Gives me hope I can get mine by Christmas

Eeyore! Seriously though, you've got incredible patience! My dealer was telling me that there was a Corvette that came on same truck as my Yukon that had been in shipping for three months! Now that it's here the guy won't even get to drive it properly for several more months because it's going to be wet.

^^^^^ Eeyore... Freaking funny!!!
Truth be told, this is my wife's car. She's the one with little patience. She had us making a few trips to other dealers hunting for the car we wanted during our long summer wait for GMC to except the order. A few things kept us from buying one on the lot - It needed to be black (matches the boat); we wanted the 60/40 2nd row bench (none around); and since I drive the long drives I wanted adaptive cruise (this was an ala carte option on the first run 2015s and we didn't find any around). In the end the wait should be worth it.

That's interesting...I wanted the adaptive cruise, second row bench, and black as well ... no black boat. A black airplane could be cool

For once, I'm happy our truck isn't here.
Its in Lordestown OH awaiting a truck to bring it to Buffalo. I can see it snowed 6' in at the Buffalo rail yard, and some punk shoveling snow off of it from the roof, scratching and denting everything.
It's looking like next week..

Just got an update
It's in Buffalo and should be in the railyard in Selkirk on Thursday
It's about 20 miles to the dealer so I'm hoping for a Christmas Present from GM

I can't believe how long some here have waited for their trucks. I am lucky I guess because mine was ordered Nov. 2nd and it was built Nov. 21st! It's really because the dealer had a "stock order" vehicle that was scheduled to be built around event code 2000 I believe. From what I understand at at that event code they were able to change the order and it then became a "sold" order. Alot of dealers won't do that. I am a really good customer at that dealership and they bend over backwards for me. I had the same thing happen when I bought a new Vette in 2007. Had it built and delivered in 29 days! Being there's no incentives this month I am hoping not to get it before December (highly unlikely) hoping they come out with something.
