Problem with Negative Camper After Drop

I installed a Belltech 2/3 kit with keys in the front and springs in the back. When I took the keys out, I didn't mark the key bolts, which later caused me to eye ball them when reinstalling the new keys. I of course had a bit of a camber problem at this point and the front sat just a little low, but figured the alignment would take care of this. The guy at the alignment shop told me they got it as close as possible, but they adjusted it as much as they could and it would never be perfect since it lowered it. This of course isn't true and even though the toe-in toe-out is good, the negative camber is still a bit of an issue, especially on the drivers side.
I'm about to get a new set of tires and don't want to ruin them. I've considered adjusting the bolts to try and raise the front up a bit and hopefully give more adjustment to eliminate the camber problem. Should they have done this at the alignment shop? I kind of thought they would, but it sat at pretty much the same height as when I took it in, which I thought might have been a bit low.
Any suggestions?

Mine was like this as well but I used spindels instead of keys, they told me the same thing which isn't true like you said, you'll have to get a Camber Kit that allows for more adjustment it'll give 2 more positive degrees of adjustment. At least this is what I did and you can get it at TireRack if I remember right I think it was around the 70-75 mark. Hope this helps!

yea i hate negative campers.. nothing worse then some negative nancy ruining a good camping trip.. just really poos in my eggs..


As far as camBer is concerned.. you could also do the djm uppers.. a lil more expensive but it will push the top back out and they look trick.. plus.. the ball joints are cheap and replaceble and if you decide to bag it they are way easier than stock

Yeah, someone came and put my campfire out right before I typed that and I just couldn't shake it. My bad!

I called a local shop and they recommended that I try raising it up just a bit before anything else. I think I'm going to try and crank the bars back up just a little bit to give more adjustment for alignment. It seemed a bit low to me anyways and I am getting a little more rubbing than I would like. If this doesn't work, I'm going to start looking at other options.

who else sells a upper a arm? After almost 10 years of dropping these trucks ive seen it all. Rather do it right from the start allthough the camber bushings by bellltech might fix it also.

Yes I did, it wasn't to hard to do at all alittle bit of time to do it.
