I have a 2009 chevy tahoe hybrid and i dont know if its only the hybrid models that have this problem but when i push on the brake a noticeably loud buzzing coming from the speakers and its not the radio or anything. for whatever reason it either only happens in the morning or if the truck has been sitting for more then 10 hours. it happens at random times and only becomes louder when i push on the brake. Has anyone had this problem and can anyone help me?

Sorry I cannot help but I have an 08 Yukon Hybrid and haven't experienced that issue. Have you taken it to the dealer?

Hello! I am sorry to learn that you are experiencing an issue with your vehicle. I would be happy to further assist you and get your vehicle into the dealership if you cannot resolve this issue yourself. Please private message me if I can be of any assistance.

I have a 2008 Yukon Hybrid and have experienced a similar problem. This only happens randomly about once a month. The radio becomes silent and there is a really loud buzzing / feedback type of noise from all the speakers. It lasts only for one second but is quite startling. The radio then comes back and everything seems to work fine. The lights and dashboard lighting seems unaffected. I am not always using the brake when this happens.

I mentioned it to the dealer but he said he had never heard of that problem. I figured I can live with it.

Kal.

P.S. Are those Seadoos on your Hybrid?

Going to the dealer on Thursday for a regular service. I will ask again. Happened to me again this morning.

Where are you located Varycoolman? I am a Yammy rider.

Hello Kal,

Please keep us posted on your dealership visit. Hopefully they're able to correct this issue with your radio. If you have any questions, we would be happy to try and point you in the right direction.

Sorry Guys, following my visit to the dealer, no luck in getting any help for this issue. Other than the dealer trying to blatantly rip me off (for which I will create a new post) they wanted to charge me $120.00 as a diagnostic fee which would be payable even if no fault found. Given that the problem is so intermittent, there would be almost no chance of them experiencing it.

I figure I can live with this one.

Kal.
