Hello all,

I'm thinking of selling my Yukon XL (I said I never would)

Any idea on what you all think it's worth?

Here are the specs-

2000 Yukon XL
220k miles
6" lift
ranch hand grill guard
Yakima roof rack
40" Led rigid light bar and 2-20" bars on the grille
Led fog light swap
Led interior lights
DC power dual alternator 270 amp
flowmaster exhaust
Pro comp wheels
Mickey Thompson tires
CB radio
Odyssey dual battery bank
Custom subwoofer install
1000watt sub amp
1000watt 4 channel amp
Kenwood Excelon head unit
15" ceiling mount tv
new 4.56 gears installed front and rear
front and rear differentials rebuilt
New rear rotors and pads
new front and rear wheel bearings
etc.

So what do you think I should expect to get for it?

I'm in Northern California (it has zero rust)

It's good to hear that number. I was thinking of listing it around 14-15, see what happens.

Where are you located at in Northern Cali? I am in Sacramento.

I sold an 06 in May with 102k miles for 14.5 and it was a long process. I am thinking you are way to high with your number based on your year and miles.

What upgrades did you have on yours?

---------- Post added at 11:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:45 PM ----------

I was thinking with over 6k in lift and tires, 2k in lighting, 1k in roof rack, 1k in battery bank, 1500 in stereo, 1k grille guard, and about 4-5k in gears, rebuilds, and other fixes/additions, I thought I should price accordingly. Anybody out there can buy XL's all day long, but not like this. No expense was spared.

Again, .......... Where are you located?

I agree with you in regards to all your upgrades, but it will take a true Enthusiast to appreciate them. We all know that we do not always get out of a sale what all the upgrades did cost.

I had 2011 Denali wheels on mine, a 2" inch rear drop and some exterior mods like Esky rack and vent caps. Keep in mind, I had about 120k less on my rig than you have.

Near San Francisco.

I agree, it'll take an enthusiast.

This truck has been in my family since day 1 and was a hockey travel vehicle for the first 120k. Back and forth across the country many times.

Lots of highway driving.

It has been maintained at an upscale shop for most of it's life.

Tough to even think about selling it, but at the moment I have two large SUV's and am hoping to pass both of them on and get a new Suburban Or Yukon.

Near SF. Well, I guess your location is top secret.

Well, I wish you good luck on the sale, but I do not believe you will get your money out of all the upgrades you put into it.

I would gladly pay that amount here in Norway. That would be REALLY cheap!

People seem to think just because they put all of this money into their trucks it makes the value go up $ for $. Not even close. You have to remember you did the upgrades for you, not the next owner..

I always heard that most mods/upgrades actually degrade vehicles. Something about "instability" and all that horse. Besides, when people see old vehicles and high mileage they tend to steer clear, despite GM's reputation for high miles in these NBSs. Anyway, price wise, I can't help ya. However, as a fellow chrome on blacker, and seeing as to how your truck is essentially my dream when it comes to some of those exterior mods, I will beg you for more pictures, interior and exterior.

My Build. Anyway, if you find a buyer who doesn't want the grille guard or nerf bar and especially the lift, let's talk!

Had one guy come out to see it today, he pulled up in a Yukon and wanted to see how it drove after the lift. The meeting lasted about a minute and a half.

I agree, there are a lot of people out there that expect to get out, what they put in "$ for $".

If that were the case, I'd be asking around 25k. I'm looking to get about half of that.

I'm really 50/50 on selling it, and wouldn't take a low ball offer as I don't really mind having it in the garage for weekend fun. I just thought that adding 12-15k to a downpayment on a new Z71 Suburban would be a positive.

I may also remove everything and sell it as a stock, but lifted Yukon XL for around 7-8k (which is what they're going for around here)

Or i'll just sell it to 07Burb for 2k and call it a day...

I think your best bet would be 07Burb.

I just can not see how you would get what you are asking for a truck with 220k miles in Northern Cali, in a town with no name, about 30 min. South of SF.

So what you're saying is-

My Yukon is worth about 2 thousand dollars, and you need my address?

I don't understand...

But am curious why my exact location matters?
