where is the most common place to tap into switched power for an aftermarket stereo wiring harness?

At the ign switch or behind the fuse panel. Look for a thicker pink or orange wire. Should be a harness that runs from the fuse panel to the ignition switch.

i use the 25 amp windshield wiper fuse.
